Re: Updating of missing Cache Logs
Hiya fairies!!
My two geokinders have been caching with me for a while. I'm a premium member but my two kids Lottielooo (three o's) and SenseiYoda have their own nonpremium accounts. They have 65 and 52 finds respectively, but their GCA stats are 25 and 28 respectively.
Any chance the can assist? with an upload?

We could only do what you could do.
Grab the GPX files for the caches they have found, stick them all in a ZIP file and load them up.

Re: Updating of missing Cache Logs
Isn't that the last five logs only? or is this through GSAK and the like?

Re: Updating of missing Cache Logs
If you go to the cache page I believe you get 20.
Through GSAK I think (you can get 30).

Re: Updating of missing Cache Logs
I've just logged on and downloaded the GPX file for my first ever cache find 10 years ago. It includes my log from 24/8/03 with the next one being shown as 15/9/11. With lots more since as the cache is still active. It seems to give you 10 logs (maybe that's my settings on GC) but always includes yours no matter how old it is.
So if the kids have their own accounts (which they do) and have logged the caches, it is simply a matter of downloading the GPX for each of the caches, zipping them up and uploading them here.
I suspect that if they have retrologged a number of caches, then the dates found mean they wouldn't be in the last 4 or so logs that come along with a default PQ that the somehow get into here.

But as non premium members of GC.com, I can't log on as them and GPX files...as that's only a premium member dealy-oh.

There is a back-door way around this. See the private message I sent you.traineediplomat wrote:But as non premium members of GC.com, I can't log on as them and GPX files...as that's only a premium member dealy-oh.

Re: Updating of missing Cache Logs
I have a macro in GSAK which will grab all logs for a nominated cacher. I have run this on your two kids and refreshed GCA with a gpx load. It only imported 6 logs into GCA so I assume that you have loaded the rest already.

Re: Updating of missing Cache Logs
crew.... thanks for trying, but didn't work. SenseiYoda (formerly LittleAmbassador) is on 57 GC finds and Lottielooo (formerly munchkaroo) is on 70. On GCA they are on 36 and 33 I think.
I'm thinking it's the 2006-2009 finds that didn't make it across...

Re: Updating of missing Cache Logs
Hello all, I have managed to upload the GPX files for a few caches from a recent overseas trip, however one of them has not worked. I'm not sure what I did wrong as I did the same thing for all of them.
Would a kind admin please be able to help? The cache is GC12MMQ.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Updating of missing Cache Logs
Your log is beyond the normal 20 logs that would be available in a GPX file.
I've run the GSAK log importer and your log should now appear.

Re: Updating of missing Cache Logs
I found a cache in Bali on 7th July and have just realised that it hasn't come through into the feed and be registered as a find in my stats.
It was Tulamben GC1EBYM and a Terrain 5 (scuba) difficulty 3 cache.
How do I go about getting this recognised and added to my stats.
Cheers Sue

Sorry I didn't reply to your support email, it came at a time I was under the pump in my real job and I forgot to go back and answer it... Been a tough few months with all the FIFO work I'm doing.Renroc wrote:Well that was lucky, my log was number 20!!! Thanks Craig Rat for that guidance. That cache is now showing in my finds. Yipee.
